Doctors, dentists, physician’s assistants, and nurses who would like Botox certification must first complete a training course. Designed to offer certification in Botox injections, our Boston Botox Training course at Aesthetic Mentor will allow participants the opportunity to quickly complete a proper training and develop the necessary skills required for both the state board and liability insurance companies.
As medical professionals are already trained in administering other kinds of facial injections, this course of study is not long for the majority of healthcare practitioners. Training includes study in the areas necessary for competency required in the certification, such as:
As one of the first courses in your injectables education, Botox Training is an accredited foundational and CME course for any medical practitioner wanting to learn the process of delivering Botox not just to the face, but to other target muscle areas.
Aesthetic Mentor offers this as an introductory course because Botox is currently the most popular cosmetic treatment in the U.S., making it the jumping-off point for accessing the rest of the aesthetic injectable techniques and procedures.
Aesthetic Mentor offers an accredited, CME-approved Botox training course. Instruction is given by founder Dr. Joseph Russo, a Harvard-trained, board-certified plastic surgeon with over 30 years of experience. During the 12-hour course, Dr. Russo along with his team of expert mentors lead you through both informative and hands-on neurotoxin training.
Coursework starts in a virtual classroom setting with a study of anatomy and safety. There is also a review of up-to-date information about Botox.
In the next phase, you will be in an 8-hour clinic for hands-on training. Given the 2:1 student-to-educator ratio, you will have an unparalleled learning experience that will provide you with the necessary confidence and support to begin administering Botox right away.
As an introductory class, the intensive Botox Training course provides foundational skills necessary for other injectable courses. After completion of this course, you may move on to take one of the Practice Clinics or continue on into Dermal Fillers Training.
You will have a student advisor available for these and other questions. This advisor will also assist you along every step of your journey by helping you choose your learning path in your pursuit of a new career in aesthetic medicine.
This course of study teaches how Botox works, what to expect from patients in terms of side effects or complications, and how to apply the proper techniques for injecting different target areas.
Even further, adding Botox treatments to your practice can increase revenue streams while also creating exciting possibilities for patients and new opportunities for medical practitioners.
Previously the Aesthetic Institute of Massachusetts, Aesthetic Mentor in Boston has been training healthcare professionals for the past decade. With its accredited Botox training, Aesthetic Mentor provides guidance to medical practitioners who are working to transition into a new career based in aesthetic medicine.
It also offers ongoing support and resources through other CME courses, employment assistance, business leadership development, and access to both professional and patient marketing tools, expanding your investment even further.
Founded by Harvard-trained and board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Joseph Russo, Aesthetic Mentor has trained over 3,000 healthcare professionals over the past 10 years. In doing so, it continues to stand out as an industry pioneer through its safe provider training methods.
Dr. Russo, who started his aesthetic practice in 1991, remains passionately dedicated to mentoring novices, allowing them to better transition into top-tier medical aesthetic providers, which is necessary for a successful career in aesthetic medicine.

Dr. Russo is amazing. The class was small and intimate, which made for a better learning experience. During the hands-on portion, the instructors were extremely knowledgeable but friendly and laid back. Which again, made for better learning. I loved everything about the course. Worth every penny. Thank you!
