Lip Intensive at Aesthetic Mentor is a CME accredited course for medical professionals interested in learning the skills required for safe and effective lip augmentation treatments with dermal fillers.
Lip augmentation with dermal filler is one of the most frequently requested procedures in aesthetic medicine today. Hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance found in the body that hydrates, plumps, and firms the skin, is the most popular filler formulation for lip augmentation. The most recognized national brands falling under the hyaluronic acid filler category include Juvéderm, Restylane, and Belotero.
Lip Intensive builds upon the skills learned in Intro to Dermal Fillers and is entirely dedicated to the anatomy, safety, and techniques required to achieving a variety of outcomes for lip augmentation. This 4 hour-long course is led by Dr. Joseph A. Russo, a Harvard trained, board-certified Plastic Surgeon with more than 30 years of experience, and his team of expert educators. Following a comprehensive and interactive lecture, a hands-on clinical practicum session gives students the opportunity to practice learned skills and techniques. Aesthetic Mentor’s 2:1 student-to-educator ratio provides an unsurpassed learning experience, giving students the support and confidence needed to begin treating patients right away.
Upon completion of Lip Intensive, students can continue to develop their skills by advancing to our Intermediate, Advanced and Elective class offerings. Our student advisors are always available to direct you along your learning path and answer any questions you may have.
When you choose Aesthetic Mentor for advanced training in aesthetic medicine, our investment in you continues far beyond the classroom, with ongoing support resources including; compliance, safety, continuing education, employment assistance, business development leadership, and access to professional and patient marketing tools.
Dr. Russo and his staff are extremely professional and welcoming. The instructors are knowledgeable, take time to teach proper/safe technique and answer all questions to assure students have a thorough understanding of all concepts being taught. I have enjoyed every learning experience at Aesthetic Mentor. The supervised hands on training is priceless
