Sclerotherapy Course Overview

Our Boston Introduction to Sclerotherapy Course is Aesthetic Mentor’s accredited course for medical professionals interested in learning the safe and effective treatment of spider veins (telangiectasias) on the legs. Practiced for nearly 100 years and considered the gold standard of treatment for spider veins, Sclerotherapy can be a great low-overhead addition to any aesthetic practice.

Sclerotherapy is a simple procedure for the mid-thigh to calf area that involves the injection of a solution causing unsightly veins to scar, forcing blood into healthier vessels. Whether a patient seeks treatment for purely aesthetic reasons, or to alleviate the discomfort and heaviness in their legs associated with varicose veins, once the treated vein has collapsed, the body naturally reroutes blood flow to nearby healthier veins. Over time, the treated veins will fade from view, leaving behind clearer, more radiant skin. The ankles and feet are not areas of treatment for this service.

Sclerotherapy is a 4-hour-long, CME-accredited course led by a team of expert mentors that will guide you through a blend of didactic and hands-on training. You will be educated on the most up-to-date information with a strong emphasis on anatomy and safety. This is followed by hands-on training in Sclerotherapy techniques in a clinical environment.

Our student advisors are available to direct you along your learning path and will be with you every step of the way as you pursue a career in aesthetic medicine.

When you choose Aesthetic Mentor for your advanced Boston medical aesthetics training, our investment in you continues far beyond the classroom, with ongoing support resources, including compliance, safety, continuing education, employment assistance, business development leadership, and access to professional and patient marketing tools.

Testimonials

What are our Graduates Saying?

Dr. Russo is amazing. The class was small and intimate, which made for a better learning experience. During the hands on portion, the instructors were extremely knowledgeable but friendly and laid back. Which again, made for better learning. I loved everything about the course. Worth every penny. Thank you!
